I just cleaned out my garage on December 10, 2020 after I got home from work!

Great to see, hubby is working with you! When I filmed my garage decluttering this year, hubby was also with me, but he did not liked getting filmed (but nevertheless he was in the end result 😂) You did an awesome job, it looks great!

Past 2 days about 2 to 3 hours each day ive been in my shed alone cleaning decluttering and organising. Most of the first day was just crazy with cleaning (sophie from howls moving castle style) killing like 50 redback spiders which are venomous lots of daddy long legs getting rid of all the dirt and leaves sweeping and making it actually walkable and mostly safe to be in i mean at least 15 egg sacs i squished too. So yeah was in a painting suit hazmat style had on insect net head shield gloves and thick wool socks with the suit tucked into both. I definitely look a sight but its the only way i could safely and sanely get it there. Its been great to air it out and really get stuck in and every time im in there it gets easier and my shoulders and heart feel less burdened and its just such a peace of mind knowing the final frontier of decluttering organising and cleaning is finally getting started since ive done all the inside of my house in waves multiple times ive finally done so enough that i can pause it as is and start on the outbuildings/outside aka the shed and garden stuff and all the packing boxes and materials we keep and furniture and sentimental and crap thats been in boxes and never got around to unpacking thankfully i believe ive done every box in there and transferred them to pest protected food safe heavy duty stackable lockable tubs that are water proof as well and wont end up having to use noisy and expensive packing tape and dispensers and scribbling whats in the box and all that so yeah defs an investment but its way cheaper than moving boxes in the long run which degrade and get dirty or wet or pests and just ugh and storage tubs look so much nicer. So yeah unless theres a hidden box or two im basicaly just trying to declutter organise and clean everything in there that ive already decluttered from boxes to tubs and make the space efficient safe fuctional and stress free. So yay thanks for the motivation our sheds like proper massive 3 car garage the ceiling as well is super high and theres like loading dock industiral type metal screwed to the floor and walls shelving so thankfully i can store tubs and things nicely on there which ive done but also spiders love them and its super high like 12feet ceiling maybe higher and the shelves basically go about 4 feet from the top so i have to get the ladder and climb to the top to even attempt to get anything off a shelf minus the bottom one ehich is about waist to shoulder height. Lol. So yeah fun. Doing it myself isnt great either i certainly cant move heavy furniture even with someone helping or a dishwasher for example lol so i have to make it more of an event to get those things done but ive been doing everything i can alone and its been so fun i too have a massive pile for the bin (trash) and tip (dump) unfortunately we dont have any hardrubbish collection at any time let alone a skip (dumpster) so its really hard to get rid of stuff you have to have your own ute (truck) to load up and take to the tip which i dont so it sucks and putting stuff on the footpath nature strip (sidewalk curb) is considered illegal rubbish disposal or littering and you can get fined even if its like decent stuff so any decent stuff we donate and anything else gets put in the wheelie bin or has to sit and wait til it can be somehow taken and paid to be disposed of. Sucks but yeah. Defs makes you really think about whether to buy something if it cant be put in the regular weekly wheelie bin.

Hard to watch when you are working hard, but husband slowly moves one thing to another place.

As someone whos rented majority of my life i can relate hardcore to landlords not allowing basically anything. Rarely do they supply appliances (which i prefer them not to because ew usually theyre super bad ones and dirty) and when they do they dont allow you to put yours in instead. One house we had a dishwasher washing machine AND dryer in the shed. Including a bunch of freestanding fans because usually theyre arent ceiling fans or aircon in bedrooms so you buy these fans and then you move and you dont need them at that house but you cant also pass them along because then youd probably just have to buy them again. It sucks people who havent rented or have lived in the same home their entire lives and just go straight from the parents house to a married forever home dont know the struggle and rigid renting life. Ive had one semi decent landlord and thats not saying much considering theyre still shitty 😂😂😂 but compared to the literal creeps evil people hellholes that should be condemned places it often seems like paradise. Haha
