Great video Hektor! I've been waiting for a 2 story ADU video from you. We spoke about it a while back. I will be calling Natalie soon. Thank you! It's interesting that the foundation reinforcement is done in the inside of the garage and not the outside which for me there's lots of pavers and concrete on the outside.

Hi Hecktor btw nice videos i spoke with you maybe more than 2 yrs ago bec you did a detached adu for i think 100 k only i have a quick question i want to do a 2 storey adu or garage and adu on top but my yard doesnt have a garage yet my question can i build the garage first like a 3 car garage then an adu on top is it ok to do it simultaneously after the garage

Building one almost exactly like this. Except I have to adhere to 10’ rule so my build on top looses some sqft. After plans are done. The garage structure stays.. so do you contact a concrete contractor? Is that your first move?

Talk to a Framing contractor that does footings as well. Framing and footings go hand and hand and its best for one company to to both.
