Not sure, it might be a challenge to get it to stick directly to the insulation. The kit does come with hold down clips I did not use because I had the hurricane bars available on my door.

​@@shanesgettinghandyI just got done watching my wife install these. I was working on my 24 MT09 exhaust install. Looked easy enough & the clips helped. I assisted as she's 5'2. However, I tried to get her to cut all the bats at same time or at least all same size at same time. Nope, no assembly line here & took forever Thx for showing me how to adjust the springs! I dont have a 1/2 pipe or long socket extension. I will check neighbor out, he has everything.
