@@mescobar8801 thanks for your question!! I installed the insulation panels back in February of this year and I’ve measured around 2-4 degree temp difference in coolness. Things that can make a difference is how much sunlight you allow to shine in. I have two windows in my garage as well as the small windows along the top of the garage door. If I open the blinds of these windows it kind of defeats the purpose and allows the garage to heat up. The panels did better in the colder months earlier! The panels made a huge difference in noise reduction while opening and closing the door by eliminating a lot of the vibrations. Also the outside noise was significantly reduced! I think the panels are definitely worth the money and would purchase them again if I moved. Thanks! Tim
Yes, I did have to get my springs adjusted. The springs that were on my garage door we’re already almost adjusted fully to begin with. The builder should have put on bigger Springs to begin with. So with the added weight, I had to get new springs put on. That was something that I didn’t think was going to have to happen but it did. It did cost me quite a bit of money. But the insulation panels themselves are totally working just fine. I had to use about 2 1/2 boxes of the insulated panels that I got from Home Depot. The price on those have dramatically risen as well. But I’m glad I did it.
