Today's garage (S.E.R.) fire system test has a diverse setup of fire alarm devices manufactured by Simplex, Wheelock, Honeywell, and Kidde. A Simplex 2905-9907 double horn projector was also installed because why not?! Thank you for watching, subscribe!

My high school was full of those. 4903-9838s with the dual projectors, on continuous. It was so cool during drills

I remember at my elementary school in one of the hallways was a Simplex 2905-9907. I still have no clue whether its disabled or not, because i never heard it in fire drills. Most of the alarms are 4903-9150's and there are a few truealerts. Flooded with Simplex T Bars, and some have a cover on them because of so many false alarms.

the old kmart in cookeville actually had 5 9838s with 3 on projectors and all 5 on 2903 light plates with a couple 9806 horns and the system panel was a 4002 but it all sadly got disconected and replaced hower 1 9806 horn and the 3 9838s on projectors on 2903 light plates remained but the new l series horn strobes where installed

Something I am curious about, are there any settings for decibel levels? I would imagine putting these things in bathrooms in schools would be deafening. I remember being scared to go into bathrooms because I was in the bathroom when a fire drill went off at school and it scared the pants off me.

My school has the Simplex horns like that, but never heard one. They also have normal Simplex horns, but yet again, never heard one. The main alarms are EST Genesis. I think the Simplex horns are from the original system

so intresting that my high school have 5 diffrent types of fire alarms, truealerts in the main 2 buildings(code 3), the big and small simplex bell strobes in the science building (also code 3 for the 2), in the pool have wheelock AS set on continuous and the balcony of the pool had faraday horn strobes on California Code (odd set up i think and i dont even live in cali and the faradays does cali code)

Hey SER SAFETY, What is your and SAFETECHS job called exactly? Im looking to get into this profession, I however was born handicapped, and cannot wait without a walker or the assistance of someone holding me up? Can someone like me who mostly uses a wheelchair out in public, do this job?

@@joaquinmengel2224 Yeah probably, you can use elevators to get up and down floors to test devices. Although sometimes u might have a scissor lift to get to high ceiling devices (Or they have poles to test them), but u might have multiple people with you to help out. You probably would have to research or ask employers I guess. And a lot of devices are high up on walls too so again you might need to ask about this type of job.
