You seem to care about your health so i just wanted to mention to you that your kinda treating your body like a lab rat. Wearables have not been around long enough for science to study the long term health effects it has on us. Our phones are bad enough but then your just amplifying that with wearables. Not many people stop to think about that so I thought I'd just mention that. Watched a interview with a surgeon who said that he finds tons of tumors inside the skulls of people who use there phones incorrectly by making direct contact with the phone to there ears while on the phone. It's no joke and something to think about. Anyway, nice gym, turned out great! 😊👍
I actually wish you did a final tally that gave a break down of the total cost, maybe that's the finance guy in me. Also, did you add any actual fitness tech in the gym?
Here is the link from our local Home Depot www.homedepot.com/p/BEHR-DYNASTY-1-gal-PPU18-10-Natural-Gray-One-Coat-Hide-Matte-Interior-Stain-Blocking-Paint-Primer-165001/315789730 The flat/matte finish
Good job. I appreciate the clean, minimalist aesthetic while still keeping full functionality. Ive seen too many cluttered gyms where people buy minimally useful equipment just to fill up their space.
It's one of those things where I was shopping at the right moment. A personal training studio was closing and getting rid of it that weekend. Major win.
@@Aesthetic_Al was there a reason you decided not to also paint the ceilings? I’m in the process of painting my walls black but I’ve heard painting the ceiling black can ruin the lighting in the mirrors
Bro thats those are the best mirrors I could find for $49 they have it at the Home Depot by Signal Hill. I attached a link you can choose bigger or smaller too
Hey man thanks for the awesome video! Was wondering what are the dimensions of the room used for your gym? You have the same equipment I’m considering for my home gym and I’m curious if I can fit it all in my home space. Thanks for the help!
I got you bro, I had to double check. Its a 16x20 Garage with 98 inches tall. The size of the room is alright its the height with a squat rack and the pull up bar. I am 2 inches away from my head hitting the ceiling when doing pull ups. Chest touching bar. Hope this helps brother.
Awesome video! Incredibly well done and professional. Thanks for sharing. I’m building a house with a move in this summer and wanting to do a garage gym. Curious how you’re regulating the temperature?
Glad it was helpful! I wanted to put much more tips but I didn't want the video to be too long. Well I am in Southern California 10 mins from Long Beach so weather is very generous. I might make some RU-vid Shorts on how to clean mats and remove rust from the barbell. Maybe a review on the Bowflex 552 because that is my fav part. I was always sketched by adjustable dumbbells but this is a solid build!
28 inches!! I added some more of those LED lights the one I mentioned in the video. The link in the description. They came with 5 so I had a extra one and it gives it a nice touch.
