For Canadians like me, dirt biking isn't possible unless you stud your tires to ride on snow and ice. In this install video, I show and test the Grip Studs Screw-In Tire Screws in sizes 1740 and 1800. Unlike many other ice screws, these have a wider auger-style base that prevents you from losing them during harder riding. An excellent product. Please like and subscribe.

Thanks for the great video. Live "Up North" in Sudbury and son wants some ride time on the warmer winter days. Sled on colder days. Get some seat time before moto season. You've convinced me to use Grip Studs over cheaper brands and also how to properly install. thanks and Happy Riding

A lot off side studs, I find too much tends to make bike climb out of ruts in ST woods, frozen lakes it works great.

As you are new to ice riding , can you keep us up to date on experience with choice of tire compound ,sidewall construction tire pressures .?

What happen if you remove them when the winter is over. Do the tire is too damaged and you better keep them on?

What do you spray on the tube and tire before installing them? And what is the purpose of that please? Is it to ease installation, some kind of lubricant?
