I have been a bit quiet since my previous video as I have been very busy trying to get a bunch of orders completed before Christmas (2023) when the unexpected happened. We experienced a "once in a 100 year" flood that left my workshop 1.3m under water. What I first thought was a total loss turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I now have a much more functional workspace. Looking forward to creating much more content for you guys soon!

This just might be the best example of "turning lemons into lemonaid" that I've ever seen. I can only imagine the heartbreak of having over 4' of water in your shop, truly a nightmare scenario for anyone. However, you just rolled up your sleeves and got to work restoring and improving on the previous shop layout. Excellent job, Josh! You now have a new subscriber!

Much appreciated Mitchell! The range of thoughts and emotions you go through is wild because there is nothing you can do to stop it. But very happy with how it turned out.

That storm and the flood are a bummer but an excellent opportunity for an upgrade to your shop! It's lookin' good! Good luck!

Holy Cow ! That's a lot of water. Well done on the rebuild. What would I have done differently? Haven't a clue. It's your workshop not mine. The water in my workshop comes down not up, or did until we replaced the roof over the last two weekends. Now I'm rearranging my work space as I don't need to put all my stuff in the dry bits as it's all dry !!!!! Looking forward to seeing what you do next. Thanks.

Thanks much! I still find more and more things I lost as I go. 😋. Just another opportunity to make something new and better I guess. But yes, water in your workshop is not fun no matter how it gets in. Cheers!

You're making me feel lazy. Good choices on where to high speed the video. Keeps things interesting and at a good pace. Was your Onefinity underwater?!

😁 Luckily not. Water came up to the bottom of it and I remembered just in time to remove the black box that was fixed to the bottom of the bench.
