1)Better air flow to the intercooler 2)It's sorta like taking off a gold chain before a fight so it won't be damaged. Then again,I've seen this 180 IRL and it usually has the bumper on.Probably was sent to repaint,I don't know.It looks good without the bumper anyway.

Dont like? On the contrary I love it and have one myself. S13 Fastback with a s15 Spec R 6mt swap. and a full 3 stage pearl paint job. Thats not even the tip of the iceburg. You are part of a growing problem of why s13 owners cars hold no value regardless of what they spent because theres so much garbage out there. You dont see any supra mark iv or FD's owners unable to hold there value because they keep it pristine and tasteful. Figure it out
