Aamir Zaki unfortunately never got the recognition he deserved. Much of his songs & tunes went uncredited since they were bought by other Artist of the time. " Roshni ka yaqeen " the Instrumental was not only composed but even played by Aamir Zaki and sold to Shahzad Roy for his album. Listen here the instrumental composed and played by Aamir Zaki, and Shehzad Roy- is only acting it out in the music video... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mHnUPiBGdX8.html I pray that the legend rests in Eternal peace.. and I hope we Pakistanis start recognizing our legends before its late. Another such legend is Faraz Anwar - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3AoeFPElN9A.html
@@doityourselffixityourself3110 Junoon band was dissolved and Salman and Ali were not even on talking terms during this song. It was Ali's first solo outing and he had heard this tune from Aamir Zaki. he bought the composition from Aamir Zaki and got him to play the guitars in studio recording. If you get the original CD for the album you would see the credits. But unfortunately everything is on the internet and is not properly credited these days.
The Lead Guitarist of the song.... the Pakistani guitaring legend AMIR Zaki died yesterday at the age of 49...... R.I.P....Amir... You will always be remembered.....

I remember Ali had high fever during the shoot. He had some energy. Only he could pull it off. Water ... fire ... snakes ... lol ! Was a dream first music video for me as a director ... Ali Azmat ... truly ... Rock Star !!!
Quite an extraordinary song. I am an Indian and i am crazy about Pakistani Songs. Because they can produce songs like this. It brings a sense of freshness. Thumbs up from Pak- Ind unity.
"'Ali Azmat' is just like Chester in Linkin Park", and Music is one and only field, where Pakistan can beat other countries! Junoon band was 20 years ahead at their time!

the only rock star whom I hated the most in my childhood but as I have grown up gradually I found the same soul of rock and sufism's fusion in me. love this man and his energetic style.. ♥♥:-)
What a terrific voice Ali Azmat has! He's the only master of his brand of Rock and Sufi music. I remember driving around randomly with this song on, just to scream along with Ali Azmat. What a legend!
Hey I honestly do this still. Like almost everyday. I play Junoon songs on Patari in my car and drive around aimlessly while high as shit on weed. It's the best thing ever.

You are from kolkata?... Dude tell me one thing..have you heard of this band from kolkata... I live in California these days... And all my friends from kolkata are saying this band Ausomapto is like getting quite big at kolkata? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T_29A4LhnAQ.html
@@abhishekchatterjee2346 well i hope they do, let's be fair bro the golden days of metal and band culture is almost whipped out of india, it's most commercialized soft jazz or indie pop being played in all platforms and stations. Bangladesh is making dope ass music otherwise it's gone bro. Sorry! Hip Hop scene has taken over rock bands.
@@souradeepbhattacharya5503 yes bro..its indie stuff these days mainly..and true that Hip hop shit is all over the place... Frankly.. All my friends we're discussing about this only...couple of years back when I went back to kolkata during the pujas... But then they were saying a few weeks back that this band Ausomapto plays really heavy and groovy stuff like korn and linkin park in their live shows... And one of my friends attended their live shows and was absolutely blown away with their performance.. Hence asked you about this band... Since it appears they have not uploaded their heavy content on RU-vid as of yet.
@@abhishekchatterjee2346 Yes there are some bands keeping the scene alive and now they do got their own jam pads but there's no recording or signings happening bro, sad part is that i don't even dislike Hip Hop i think it's helping bengali intellectual class spreading the message but man that feel when you bop to a guitar riff in a rock/metal concert can only be found in Bangladesh. Even the Rock shock magazines and t-shirts have be dominated in the last 10yrs by other genres.
Unbelievable that we are coming up on 20 years. Seems like yesterday I heard this song on cablenet in 2003 for the first time. No politics. No religion. Good ol' Times!
Anyone in December 2020? Bidding farewell to COVID year. Hope humanity will rise again. All time fav song. High on whiskey and enjoying the legendary song. Hats off to good old days.
Look at the upload date. December 15, 2005 was the day when youtube was launched. And this guy got to knew about this website and uploaded the video on 26th, Feb 2006. Within 2 months. Awesome.
Ali Azmat and the whole junoon team earned their respect by the way of their music across the boarder , truly the original the Indian subcontinent has produced. Still enjoying their numbers as I did while I was growing.
