Oh my God....I loved this!!! And once more, it was practical and also metaphorical - somehow the alchemy of the cleaned apparatus made me feel renewed!! 💡
My goodness Ken, you sure are something! Aside from your travels, you should have a DIY channel too 😀 You are strong. I have to use a hammer to crush ice when it's stuck. Lol... And as Carole says, boiling water is good too. Oh, my parakeets started chirping when they heard the sound of running water. Keep up your great job! 👍
Just a suggestion next time use at least a 1/2 box of baking soda, a few spoonfuls is not enough to grab what is on the sides, when you finish baking soda and vinegar pour a boiling pot of water down the drain, this will really make it more germ free. Try to do this at least one a month.
Oh my, your last name struck my heart! Curiosity, here thinking, if you don't mind my asking, are you related to a Steven Flynn, that lived in Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan, in the late 60s?
It’s the mechanical issues that is mostly the problem. Find the disposal key which is somewhere in the cabinet under the sink. Find the screw and move it back and forth a few times then hit the reset switch. That should fix it. But run it as you run water in to clean it. Honestly the leftover food piles up inside and the blades don’t do the job. By manually moving the blades you clear the issue quickly and reset it.
I have tried baking soda, vinegar and lemon 🍋 juice for clear out the smell. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. There might be something stuck i. The pipes that needs to be cleared by a plumber. Good luck! 👍🍀
Hey ...YOU DID IT WRONG buddy... You gotta fill inside of disposal up completely With ice all at once, not just throw a cube down at a time that just crushing ice ..get it full of ice. Before turning on..watch a couple more videos and give it another try .
