just this is funny.... Shirley had a crappy childhood.... her classmates made fun about her, say that she was ugly and her hair color was ... I dont know.... and here now every time I watch a video of her.... guys even girls say that she is hot...... and It's true.... It's you think about it its very funny
They're on "hiatus" not broken up. Shirley recorded a solo LP, that was to be released earlier this year, but her record company was not happy with it... Shirley can be seen this fall on "Terminator-The Sarah Conner Chronicles"
Glastonbury is always a great multi-day festival. People come from all over Europe. I think there's only one bigger annual festival... In Holland or Belgium. The family atmosphere is great... people bring their kids of all ages... never seen violence... bit of fun, but never real violence. Reading rocks too... but is more commercialized nowadays.
I genuinely didn't know she was like, 42. I thought she was early 30s until I found out she's been in bands since 1982! She will NEVER age, just another of the powers I'm certain she has! :-P
I'd love to see Shirley and Gwen Stefani do a couple of songs together. Don't remember Shirl doing it but Gwen has done duet's with Brodie Dahl, Pink and i don't know who else. The thing is, will Gwen ever tour again with No Doubt? I wish because i just don't care for her solo stuff but she rocks with No Doubt.

@Freesia84 Perhaps you are not satisfied with raw talent that kicks ass without excess dramatics, costumes, gyrating extras, pyrotechnics, camera tricks, manic editing and other distracting stage litter and useless bullshit. GARBAGE is perfect and an iconic example of what today's performers have forgotten: the song has to work even if you can't watch the performance. Watching Shirley, see 3:08, is a mind numbing additional pleasure. This song was a hit way before any video of it got out.
