How amazing it is when you are a massive fan of a band for more than 20 years now and 22 years later they managed to surprise you at 36 years old with the same impact they had when you were 14!!! Fucking love this. One of their best tracks ever!!!!

It's Jan. 2021 and this song is becoming prophetic with all the shit that we are going thru right now... this band continues to be brilliant which is why I'm still such a big fan.

Just in case no one guessed it: Her song is an echo of the song video at the end of the tv show Millennium, the song was Horses by Patti Smith. In it, a psychic saw the end of the world and that even heaven didn't want to stop it from happening. The episode title was, The Moment is Now.

Three years ago, Shirley Manson, almost alone, had the imagination with these lyrics to see and to spell out where we were going. That's a special kind of artist.

I would love it if their next album kept this industrial/electronic vibe. So proud of them!

I first heard of Garbage when I was in my 20's. Not always been up on "newest music" ever I heard "I Think I'm Paranoid" as a back track to Gran Turismo 2. Some years later I heard the song again and found out about them. One song led to the next. Shirley never failed to hit the nail on the head with the lyrics and that fabulous voice of hers then club the guilty as well as give hope with the baseball bat she nailed it into. The band of talented musicians only adding to the beauty and power with songs like Queer, Bleed Like Me, Androgyny, most all of her music if you listen just those titles stand out and now...the darkest, most fantastic, and colorfully worded "No Horses" Garbage does it yet one more time. It's sad when one of my favorites can pretty much sum up turning on the TV news and picking up a paper until you just quit because you know what you're seeing and feel about powerless against it. Still, even for something so dark, so sad....Shirley and the band made it into a thing of art and beauty. To answer Ozzyrocks666: Nope not really. I think time will be her greatest ally. She will always be young, beautiful, blunt, and truthful in her music. She's creating a legacy that will survive even the foreseeable apocalypse with no horses she sings of.

The sounds are so cool here, that it somehow overshadows the messages she is singing about. I'm AS impressed with the background music as I am with the singing and the lyrics!! to say nothing of the MV imagery. This band never fails to be SHOCKINGLY original.
