Recently, Alex and I took a trip to New York and here's everything we found on that trip. Big Thanks to Alex for bringing me along for the trip. Hope you all enjoy!
Awesome video! Nice clips at 4:05 and 22:05, dejana and meadow carting run some cool trucks. The ending was crazy, ig dsnys auto locking tailgates aren't as smart as I once thought they were
At the end….. why did you stop filming? I would’ve loved seeing how they resolved that little oversight. Did they not buckle the rear down? Did the truck malfunction or did they not buckle it? I would’ve liked to seen another 10 minutes of filming that!
my Dad worked for the garbage company and did a route in Bensonhurst in the 90's. Those guys partied hard. I would sometimes look for him after school because we lived in the neighborhood. When i find him he's almost always drunk. He wouldnt come home for days at a time. my mother worried
What an epic compilation! I'll tell you what, the east coast sure loves their Macks! So many amazing trucks in this one! Is the truck at 20:45 an Autocar ACX/DP5000? It sounds so much like one that it reminds me of our ACX/DP5000's! Hopefully there's a full video of that one coming!
Why is waste collection that manual and inefficient in a highly industrialzed country like the US? Over here we have highly stadarized containers that are emptied automatically within seconds. Clean, efficient and convenient - not only for the workers.
Well tbf its the company's decision to run side loaders or rear loaders. Also take into account that in the cities (like nyc for example) parking is tight and thus the rearloades are better suited for that environment.
Depends on if they’re a drive or a helper. Most drivers who do NYC make around 120ish per year from what I’ve been told by drivers there. Helpers make around 90-100k per year. That’s just for NYC though, no clue about those companies not in NYC.
Who was the joker for "Royal" services who spilled trash outside of the truck, then didn't even pick it up? His type ore the ones who give a bad name to trash workers!
What a noise they make and still driving with diesel engines. In our country they are either natural gas or el-powered,with nearly no noise at all. There are also only one man per truck.
