0:16 yessss when that bass drops right into its groove i know the audio's gonna be good. so many versions, you hear that thunderous bassline get gated or even just lost because of how big it is. but the song is absolutely not the same w/o it. also 1:13 man i love how her voice just blends right into that guitar wail.
That was jut so amazing it's rediculous (If anyone gets that). My opinion is they are one of the finest live bands ever and completely outstanding when it all comes together like that.
I have no idea why people were asking her when she is going to fucking retire. So what she is 50 odd. She still has it. They still have it. So why the fuck not? Yeah, ok. Some songs have changed but that shit happens over time. People change. The music changes. Words get ad libbed. Notes get changed. Songs change. But she still can sing very well indeed. I am ashamed to call myself a fan since 1995 and have never seen them. This is going to change. i will use one of her lines. "prop me up with another pill". I cant handle large crowds so i might have to take a pill to chill me out just so i can go and see them. Only two bands that make music have brought me to tears. Garbage is one of them. The other? This song's lyrics and content could, should and would make anybody, that is human with feelings, cry.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_Ju6Q8Azcmg.html Edit...i just noticed that both of the songs that make me cry were performed at the MTV music awards. One in 1996, Milk by Garbage and then Logic's 1-800.
50 isn't old anymore. Funny how the kids think they need so much plastic surgery in their 20's... if they keep going like that, they're going to look like literal taut plastic. Gross. Shirley looks great, still sings great. People can fuk off. And also - been a fan since 95 as well and haven't seen them. If they ever come back to Aus I'll be going with a vali(y)um cause I hate crowds too lol
did they change the lyrics? i thought it was "THE other girls". i think i it sounds better and makes more sense that way. but who am i to question greatness.
is a type called "pad". every sinth have this category. garbage had tons of them available, hard to tell which specific synth was used, but at that time, Kurzweil K2500 and some Roland stuff.
