Thanks for sharing your beautiful plans you picked up and how you’re going to use them. Thank you so much my dear friend for a wonderful creative video. Always love a good garden tour.
Aww congratulations! I need to get a Heath! The deer seem to be particularly nibbly this year. I've been at my property for 11 years, and they've never eaten my tulips or hostas. So, I treated myself to a whole bunch of tulip bulbs in the fall and expanded a garden. They mowed off every one, and the ones in another garden that they don't usually touch.
It’s hard to blame them, food is hard to come by this time of year and we basically plant them a buffet 😂. I think I may just plant more daffodils next year, they bloom earlier anyway!
There were four deer hanging out at my place in Sydney Forks two weeks ago. We sprayed everything with deer deterrent. I also blared my car horn , which scared them. I haven’t seen them in awhile so hopefully they won’t come back. They ate my beautiful hostas last year.
Always enjoy watching your videos Nicole. I've never see Martagon lilies for sale anywhere. I would like to grow heath but I don't think it would be hardy in my zone 5b garden. I can grow lavender but not butterfly bush. I've tried 3 times over the years. Bonny
Thank you! Heath are definitely hardy to zone 5, and sometimes 4 with protection. It’s most important to make sure it the soil conditions it likes and not stay too wet and you should be fine. The martagon lily was just at the garden center, maybe try Brecks? They usually have a fairly impressive bulb selection. My husband is from South Bar, I’m familiar with the area 😊
