I just love you’re videos they make me smile I always learn a lot I wish I had some big beautiful butterflies in my garden I do live in zone 4 in Canada but I am going to look into what plants I could maybe grow to try and attract some

I have that same helichrysum and will now save many seeds‼️Casey is the nigella where we get black seed!? Oh!!!

Nigellas seed is very good for you, so harvest it, but don’t forget to save some for another year in the garden. We have been just harvesting a lot of the plants for healing and we will play more with them during our off season since we are just new to it.

I have same beetle problem last 8 years but I find hand plucking into a jar with 1inch bleach. I've killed most before their egg laying. I'm down to very few now without using any chemicals. Best capture time early am or a slight breezy day- they don't feel you coming! Never wish to hurt my good bees.

I wonder if Japanese beetle traps would be an option for you? Your garden seems like it has enough breathing room to accommodate them. If you keep chickens, I see people locate the traps so that they are also a chicken snack.

Those traps draw beetles to your house from the whole neighborhood, lol. I always hope someone else hangs some in my neighborhood. Not all land in the trap instead going on your plants.
