Four Star Greenhouse in Carleton, MI has one of the most magnificent display gardens, and Jerry & I were privileged to visit and film a garden tour. Four Star is one of two nurseries in the United States that grows all of the annuals for Proven Winners. They have a display garden covering 1.5 acres with over 18,000 annuals planted yearly and countless perennials and shrubs. My sweet friend! You made our morning after leaving Michigan @ 2:30 am and driving back to NC. We just arrived home to see a notification on a new video upload. We are so blessed to have visited FourStar Display Gardens & the icing was that Mrs Jenny & Mr Jerry were there at the same time we were in the area. When you hear that “Southern” dialect & know you’re peeps are close! Thank you for including us in the closing frame. That was super sweet of y’all!

I’m so glad you toured the facility! I am doing a 6 month internship with them come January! I’m going to be working with all of the departments focusing on marketing and sales. I’m very happy you’ve shown public attention to the greenhouse! This is my biggest dream come true!

Okay, just going to say I AM SO JEALOUS THAT YOU AND JERRY HAVE GOTTEN TO SEE ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL FLOWER GARDENS AND THEN YOU GO HOME AND YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL FLOWER GARDENS. I happen to live just minutes from this garden and I am amazed the gardens look this awesome after that storm we had. Trees were down everywhere and so many were with out power for 5 days. Those plants are survivors!!

Wow! Talk about Eye Candy! Love their use of flagstone as well. Ornamental grasses give a sense of movement to a garden and that rusty color was phenomenal. Loved the Grand Finale with the music! Thank you for all the inspiration! 💕

I'm originally from Michigan and I'm hoping to get back there in about a month this is on my wish list. Sometimes we don't have the time to do a ton after driving all over the state to visit family. I so must find the time. Thank you for the beautiful video, I saw one from Laura and Aaron years ago and I forgot how absolutely spectacular this place looks. What a magnificent series of gardens! I see to live just south of Toledo, which is about 45 minutes from Four Star. The aerial sections of the video reminded me of what big farm country that is. Southeastern Michigan is totally different than western Michigan where you were previously. Wasn’t it amazing to see all that creativity on display? Can’t you just imagine a lovely wedding?

It is so exciting to see the gardens that you are visiting. Walters Gardens and Four Star Nursery are both in our vacation path for this August. We are definitely going to stop and see these gorgeous sites on our way to visit family in Ann Arbor and when done will swing up to Mackinac Island to see Dave’s work. I don’t often make it back home so it is exciting to find new places to see. I wasn’t excited about this trip when plans were made because it is really planned around a Navy Reunion event. It is nice to meet and see my husbands navy buddies but the navy stories are told and retold over and over again 🙃. Now I will endure them happily with awesome visions of upcoming garden centers! 😄🤪🤗

Love these gardens and your videos! It’s so interesting to see the different color palettes. I already knew what my color aesthetic was but seeing the purples and pinks just made my heart happy and then the warmer reds etc., is jarring to me. Funny how we are all so different and what brings joy to one doesn’t to another.
