Hate that I missed the premiere but it was a great video. Plenty of maples but not a monoculture. Maybe a video with all of your mikawa or japonicum or shirasawanum 🤔 just keep it coming Manic!
Really enjoyable video, got some great ideas for the garden and got an idea of what some of the trees look like. Looking forward for more updates and progress on your garden. Thank you for sharing
you need some other stuff just for shade and wind buffer. even something that grows fast and in a pot like burning bush. those first ones were too exposed. i love the videos though brother
(6b ,Southern WV) i actually had to do the same thing recently to save some rhododendron and mnt laurel in pots that i had thought were heartier. i just grabbed (3ft stralks w / roots ) burning bush at a place getting overrun w it, which is very common. at this time of year itll transplant w leaves intact (keep soaked for a while) and fill out in 2 weeks. i just pull out by hand. i also like moss beneath for keeping roots cool and low maintenance (effective when dried out even) that being said, your collection of j maples far exceeds mine. im sure much of that is obvious to youmight help someone w a windswept patio. thanks for the videos. great motivation and perspective.
