I'm a big fan of Egyptian Walking Onions. ❤ Planting all sorts of things in my beds is more fun I think - and hopefully, confusing to any interested little animal friends. 🙄😁 I share the goal of more food with less work, and as much beauty as possible! 😊😎

Your garden is coming along. We are eating spinach, bok choy, and 4 types of lettuce. Heaven! Aren.t the birds just part if our gardens too? lol. It.s our first year for cardinals hete in Petawawa, Ont. I like to think their chirps are my 2 friends who passed away last year. They make me happy.

You know, I actually do nothing at all! Mice, sow bugs and an occasional bird will get some. Sow bug (pill bugs) are the worst. But I still get lots for me hahaha. Enough to eat and freeze too for all winter.
