Can I ask, In the video is it 22" turn or 24? Also what is the circumstance of the width after finishing? As I finished and I only have 20"? Did I miss a row or will it stretch for 22"?

Hey there. You probably just have tighter tension than I did. Focus on stitch count instead of width/length. As long as you have the stitch count, you’re accurate. I’ve made this blanket with several hook sizes so the width and length vary depending on yarn, hook size/maker, etc. which is why I make sure to have stitch counts for everyone to go by!

@picatrix22 thank you so much for getting back with me . Your right I do have tighter tension as I recounted and it's all the same count. Thank you again and fyi, I stumbled on this while looking for a something for a friend in a wheelchair and knew she'd love this! Now if I can figure how to upload a puc I'll show you final project.

Ok I figured outnwhat happened when making the second wheel. On row 8 at 11.28 you say to put double on each stitch and that's what I did, now at 11.58 you said to put double in each of the 3 halfs from row 7. That's what made my count off but I'm keeping the way it is (148) so that it will match the same as the other wheel. I thought I was going crazy, and recounted row 8 on the one wheel I finished and came up with 148.

Love it. I can sew, but think I am going to try to pick this up. Next stop, my mother in law's house to beg for lessons 🤣

Can you explain how I can attach these to my chair? I am new to wheelchairs. Heart condition and brain injury. And do not know how to attach this

Hello. I have attached the tutorial on attaching these to my wheels. Let me know if you need any other help. I use 1” binder rings and put them on my spoke handles. Will this hoop work with a chair with plastic spokes instead of the metal ones like yours? Thanks :)

Hello! just had a quick question about the first round, is it 36 DC + the initial slip stitch and chain 1 or does the 36 DC include the slip stitch and chain 1 that happens right at the beginning when you are attached the yarn to the wooden ring?
@picatrix22
@picatrix22 Год назад
The slip stitch just attaches the yarn to the wooden/steel craft ring, the ch 1 is not counted in any round, for any of my patterns. Then you’ll place 36DC around the ring and slip stitch to the first DC to close your first round.

I use 1” binder rings, at 4 points. There is a video showing how I do that in the wheelchair accessories playlist!
