I had been following scifi and fantasy Read along's garden's of the moon discussion since I could not find anyone else that actually discussed the book as a whole but they only do book 1 and I see you guys are on DHG which I am on currently as well so exited to join the ride. Really love discsussions after each segment in this sereis as there is a lot to unpack

i like how this is going, looks like you're having a good time. i was wondering what you got in the corner there, i'm guessing the bc rich is a warlock but what's the other one? a dean? washburn?

Thanks! We like that you like what we're doing, and it has turned out to be a good time, after some bumps of course. As for the guitars? I will have to pass that over to Kevin as he is the strummer of the house.

The B. C. Rich is an NJ series Beast with Duncan pick-ups. The other is a Dean '79 ML with a DiMarzio X2N in the bridge position. Good eye!

@@SEVINsBookDiscussions i noticed it was a rough start, but that's to be expected i guess. most malazan books can be jarring at first, don't expect smooth sailing from here :)) i hope you enjoy the rest of it! i'm not much of a bc rich guy but that dean must be a beauty! do you play in any bands? edit: i do like the bc mockingbird, but too much switches :/

I played in a band for a little when I was much younger. Lol. I'm not really a B. C. Rich fan either. But when was a young metalhead a pointy guitar was what I gravitated to. The Dean is much nicer to play and sounds better in my opinion. As far as the book goes I have faith that she will stay the course at least for the main ten books. I believe once the series starts doing what it does, she will love it!
