I'm about to read book 3 of Malazan and was looking around for refreshers on the first two since it's been awhile, and found this video. Such an awesome concept, I hope you keep making more of these!
just bought the book and wanted to learn more about it first ,i read that its hard to follow ... already super keen to start and THIS IS EPIC MAN... GREAT VIDEO subbed and amazed you only currently have 263 subs... cheers to the algorythem hey ...
Please make more of these. A few years ago, I read books 1-4 and stopped. I'm trying to get back into the series and this video helped a lot. You're a fantastic storyteller.
I don't think Shadowthrone and the Rope inhabit Meanas (although I'm certain they can travel there being ascendents), that's the PATH of Shadow, pretty sure they dwell in the HOLD of Shadow, Kurald Emurlahn, where the Hounds are guardians, who they're able to command. Love your video's presentation though, really doing something fresh and unique
Nobody can make Malazan interesting. It reads like a series of footnotes to a dream some guy had on mushrooms. None of the characters are the least bit compelling. The books seem to be constructed from a random table of interesting situations, where nobody is likeable, and nobody matters. A huge word salad.
I just finished it today and I'm not quite sure what I just read. I think I liked it though. Hopefully this video helps. Edit: Why did you stop making these videos? This was your biggest video you ever made. You should have done the whole series
I’d have no chance to experience this with out all the passionate fans creating content! Thanks guys, I been spending so much time to make sure I’m getting the most out of the series and it feels really rewarding
GREAT GUIDE! I just started digging into Gardens of the moon and your video has helped me conceptualize so much. Please keep uploading I know it’s been a year but great work here. It’s helped bunches.
The Imass were not one of the founding races, they were a new race before humans. Pretty much Neanderthals. Their Ritual marked eternal war against the Jaghut. Kellanved did not "bring them back from the dead", he simply used the power of their throne to command them. Some of the T'lan Imass clans were lost or caught up in ongoing wars.
