I review a trail camera under $100. Is it any good? I go over the specs and settings, how to use the camera and I also show some sample pictures and video of wildlife.

So far I am super impressed with this trail camera. It takes great pictures and videos and is fairly inexpensive costing around $80 on Amazon.

I've already got 3 of these cams. They quickly became my favourite. The file size they use for pics and vids is extremely low, quite amazing. And incredible night vision, with no flash.

I have 2 of these cams so far but the 1 got destroyed by a bear haha. They are a pretty nice camera

@@zzz7zzz9 Ya its kinda annoying haha. I've got 5 trail cameras and I think they have all been attacked by bears and 2 of the cameras have been ripped right out of the tree and now have holes in the sensors. The cameras with holes in the sensors still turn on but I haven't tested them to see if they still work right or not

@@HopskysLounge from what i've understood, they need that cover(fresnel lens), as the sensor reads infrared light. I'm ordering some from suntek, they're free.

Great review! You probably mentioned it when going through the settings, but I didn't catch if the camera can be set to only operate during certain hours. I checked the manual, and indeed it can! Best wishes

I noticed there is a Solar plugin, how many Volt and which solar or AC adapter would work for it ?

Good review, I like this camera as it as a better rear mounting bracket, I’ve had the ones with the cradle on the back and they are useless. They come away from the camera when you over tighten them.

What you think of the upgraded version GardePro A3s would it be worth it for better video quality? Does it also last longer than the 30 seconds record time during night

Hi so I'm wondering about ausing with a bear box? I'm trying catch thieves and creepers I n my neighborhood and could use it, thank you! I've had a few wildview cameras for several years but it's only kind I ever had. I found bear box on Amazon too

You will need to put the SD card into your computer or a card reader on your phone to look at the footage

If your going to review the camera outside, then try and do it in the shade so the sun light glare will not fade out the picture. Other than that, ok. thanks.

How reliable is the batter strength indicator on the camera? Mine says 2 bars left but I am not getting any night video (and I AM getting daytime video) I am using Duracell alkaline. Temps were in the 40's last night and I know that something ate the food that was left out.

Well, it's not good enough for you then. The manual quotes that it has a delay. Of 0.1 second, so not instant.

I just ordered one of these. Does it have a built in speaker for playback, or do you need to use a card reader?

You can playback footage on the screen, but I prefer to swap the SD cards and check on my computer where the screen is bigger

Sorry don't use lithium batts . . but I do use a 12v lead/acid alarm battery wired to the battery terminals ~12v 7ah I heard from a guy who had a car bat. work 5mths in snow !

Lithium are great for cold temps, but less worth the price difference in summer. Can't give battery life for this model, as mine is less than 1 month old still with its 1st set of alkaline. Anyway it depends a lot of the settings, video length, etc...
