Although I have a different model, I'm quite impressed with Garde Pro trail cameras. I like their detection range, no-glow night pics, overall pic quality, buttons, screen, ease of set up, deals with daylight saving time automatically, etc.... I feel the WiFi feature on any trail camera is somewhat useless. In the time it takes to hook up your phone, you could walk over & change out the card. I understand staying out of an area, but I just want to exchange cards & move on. I don't like their strap design either, & I wish the back of the camera wasn't so smooth. That would be my only complaint, too! After owning 4 Browning Dark Ops that no longer work, Garde Pro are the only cameras I will buy. I'm done searching for now. They are better than the Dark Ops in almost every category & especially price. Thanks again for another nice review!
Another great review. Looks and sounds like it is a great camera. My only concern would be the proprietary battery vs using a rechargeable AA batteries. Not sure if that would be a deal breaker though. Not having to use regular AA is a plus for sure. Batteries get expensive. Great job on your review. Have a great day.
all my cams go in lock-boxes, so i actually like that they smoothed the backside. but ya, not having those usual protrusions, it won't grip a tree as well. i only see one negative. the lithium pack would need taken home to charge again. whereas with AAs, one can easily pack them with and change if needed, in the field. but, i'm guessing that lithium pack lasts a hell of a long time. possibly all season for me, as my locations don't get crazy traffic. and yeah, that audio is stellar.

You such great reviews Dave! Now this is my type of camera. I like that the wifi works at a distance greater than 25 feet. The sound quality is fantastic. A GardePro may well be in my future!
I have 3 GardePro x50 cell cams. One of them works flawlessly, the second one only takes daytime pictures, with the nighttime pictures being all black. And the third I can't get to connect to the cellular network at all with constant emails back and forth to their customer service. I highly recommend you test at least 3 of the same model camera from GardePro side by side. From my experience they are a hit or a miss
is there a way to get a more close shot? Want to see birds that come to my feeder but I get the entire yard. want to see the birds up close. Thank you- great info in this video!
How's she goin'? This looks like a decent camera. Having the wifi is a good option but having to be close to it might be a hindrance. The lithium battery is nice too. I like it! Take care!!
Regarding the rechargeable battery. Does it come with an external battery charger or do you charge it in the camera body, thus requiring removing the camera from the tree? I was also impressed with the video quality.
The battery has a usb type C connector on it and can be charged with the included cable. The cable must be plugged into a USB port (or you can buy a USB wall charger which is not included, only the cable is included)

No, this camera cannot send notifications. You will need to look for a cellular trail camera for that option (there will be a monthly fee for that option)
I made a rookie mistake and set the date/time incorrectly. The camera with the included battery pack is only available on their website. I made a note in the description
Mine lasted about 14 months and then the setup screen went white with stripes and they will not off to fix it... Waste of money choose another brand please. I am not the only one with this same problem b.t.w.
