@0:25 It's not 65% reduced damage, multiple sources of damage reduction stack *multiplicatively* not additively. So you take 0.65*0.7=0.455=45.5% damage, or in other words, you reduce (physical) damage taken by 54.5% (still pretty crazy).
Yeah, and the 300 armor is about another 75% damage reduction: 0.65*0.7*0.25=0,113=11.3% damage or 88.7% damage reduction. The real power is in the time to live/amount of damage required to kill you. Lets say you have 3000 health and take 1000 physical damage before mitigation: With 75% reduction from armor you take 250 DPS and live 12 seconds. With 75% reduction from armor and 35% DD you take (0.65*0.25*1000) 162.5 DPS and live 18.46 seconds. With 75% reduction from armor and 30% from W you take (0.70*0.25*1000) 175 DPS and live 17.14 seconds. With 75% reduction from armor, 35% from DD and 30% from W you take (0.65*0.70*0.25*1000) 113.75 DPS and you live 26.37 seconds. It increases exponentially, that is probably why it is so strong. Mand.

Day 3 Maximum Maximum pen Trundle, this build will focus on building as much penetration as possible to completely ignore enemy resistances Runes: Standard Trundle Runes nothing special, although I recommend fitting in conditioning and overgrowth as they will increase how much armour you have from stealing (not how much you steal simply how much you have) Items: Divine sunderer Passive can give you up to 20% pen at 5 items 25% at 6 - Black cleaver gives you 30% armour reduction - Serylda's or LDR give you 30-35% armour pen - Sorc shoes for 18 flat magic pen - Voidstaff for 45% magic pen and maybe something tanky for your 5th item How it comes together? we all know that Trundle Ult steals 40% armour and Mr from the target so lets do 2 calculations here, first is the MR (1-0.40)X(1-0.45)X(1-0.20) = 26.4% MR remaining = 73.6% Magic Reduction/Pen at full build with Ult + 18 Flat pen from the shoes, Next I shall cover Armour with Serylda's and then LDR (1-0.40)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.20) = 23.52% armour remaining = 76.48% armour Reduction/Pen at full build with Ult and Serylda's (1-0.40)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.35)x(1-0.20) = 21.84% armour remaining = 78.16% armour reduction/ pen at full build with Ult and LDR This will let you blow up any target you use your ult on and still destroy others with relative ease
Randuins give the same effect as Frozen Heart btw as long as the enemy team isnt relying on attack speed you could also just go randuins on garen instead of frozen heart
You can try this to any item that relies on Item Cooldown to Any Champion(Brand laughs with Luden's Tempest kekw), if possible: Dark Harvest (Big Damage) / Electrocute (Faster Cooldown within 3 stacks trigger) Random (Choose Yourself since the build really focus on Item Cooldown) Eyeball Collection (As Usual build) Ingenius Hunter(Our Focus Rune) Between 2 Path Runes : Sorcery : Manaflow Band, Transcendence / Absolute Focus, Gathering Storm or Inspiration : Magical Footwear / Biscuit Delivery / Minion Dematerializer Cosmic Insight (Our Focus Rune)
Hi Zwag , great vids ! How about you play another support game ? I would recommend Nautilus with evenshroud for mythic and glacial augment for keystone rune.
The passive from W stacks even before you put a point in? When you level it up the stacked resistances are then added. I'm not sure if any other ability passive works like that.
Hey Zwag you should try out Urgot with Runaan's Hurricane and Titanic Hydra. Similar to Graves when he gets double shots, Urgot will have his leg cannon and titanic. Using his W just makes titanic go off even faster and you delete people. If you can take it to the top lane, I am really looking forward to seeing what runes and other items you build with it.

attack speed nunu, so when u knock them up with w you then just shred them and they cant get away from the slow from your e/root ive done it ones into a melee team and destroyed. funny meme too xD
that grievous bow is better for Garen since he can't use the second part of thornmail passive (unless they changed it), and attack speed is always a win for garen

It doesn't reduce damage (dmg), it spreads it over 3s instead of instantly receiving the dmg with the dmg only partially gone if you kill an enemy champ during the 3s. Doesn't seem that great outside of teamfights with 1+ kill ?

Day 17 of three fun builds for you: In support lane run Exhaust Sona, with guardian, shield bash, bone plating, revitalize, manaflow and gathering, items are lich bane, crown mythic, spirit Visage, archangels, and mebbe swap out support item for deathcap endgame Also support but big slow build: glacial braum, with a frostfire gauntlet. Double slow fields, maybe with a demonic to add to burn. Top lane or support: max health Tahm Kench, with Fimbulwinter. Don't think you've done too many fimbulwinter videos yet, that might be one of the better uses of it.

Spirit Visage would be great, even though there wasn't a lot of magic damage. It would synergize with Conquer, Goredrinker, Sterik's, Death's Dance and your passive. Much better fit then Warmog's.
Day 13 asking for another move speed Janna before the rework hits, this time with Crown, Cosmic, and Lich Bane, and Wits or Nashors to take advantage of her passive bonus auto damage.

Hey Zwag I have a fun build for you, I just threw something together, turns out it worked pretty good, did most dmg plus super tanks. Now this was an aram game so take that with a grain of salt. Amumu Runes: aftershock, shield bash (didnt do much), second wind, revitalize, cheapshot, ultimate hunter, ap, ap, Mr. Build: Crown > demonic> abyssal> zhonia> gargoyles and boots where ever they fit in. The idea is constant engage with sustain and a ton of dmg. Very tanky, plus you deal lots of dmg because of the way the items interact. Will test in laning phase
if you combine this withg anathemas chains you will get 95% dmg reduction to a specific champ typically your rival top laner or the enemy ad carry. Lets say you choose the rival top laner then you could also go hullbraker to make an unstoppable onslaught on the enemies whole top lane!

Try out Yorick full AD with collector, send your ghouls into Kamikaze mode and see them leap-shred any redirected target in a microsecond. Have fun, as long as you have ad and collector for executing mini leaping hydrogen explosives, the rest doesn't matter.
Not quite 65%. Damage reduction is multiplicative and it even states the effect of Death's Dance on the item. Ignoring resistances, if you take 100 damage, 30% of that with W is 70. Death's Dance would remove another 35% from 70 post mitigation, which is 24.5, resulting in 45.5. So this video should be titled 54.5% damage reduction for accuracy lol. Not that anyone else would probably care haha. Math is fun, but this video was funner.

I don't know how stupid this sounds, but can you try out AP Aphelios (AP-helios)? Most abilities scale with AP and I think you'd be able to get some ability combos out of him. Would love to see it :)
Bushwhack Sion - AD and Omnivamp. Bait the team into a bush with your charged axe strike. Works well with a thresh to pull you into the enemy team if you die to use passive.
