Don Charles, a guy who tells his fighter to cheat in the ring, and then has the audacity to question Usyk’s integrity. What a hypocritical A-hole. The punch was travelling upwards, it may have ended up on the belt line but on initial contact most of the glove was below. The ref had a better view of it than anyone, he was stood directly opposite just a couple of feet away. It wasn’t even the first low blow from Dubois, there was another one earlier in the fight. I like Dubois, but he got his head boxed off fair & square in that fight and Don Charles needs to learn how to handle a fair defeat without belly-aching about it (pardon the pun.)
Agreed. They didn’t even hide their plan Dubois kept saying ‘by any means possible’ they even had Usyk’s old trainer in to ‘give advice’ and kept alluding to weakness to the body. It wasn’t a stray blow it was his sole game plan! You can also see how sheepish Daniel looked when it happened. Pretty poor really when you consider if it hadn’t been for that Usyk was giving him a boxing lesson and that was despite a very slippery ring (I was there and the rain was torrential) the tv footage doesn’t really show the true extent.
Saw him at Tottenham and cheered him on amongst the AJ fans and travelled to Poland to see him surrounded by a lot of his own fans. Brilliant atmosphere. His footwork and head movement looks even better live. Worth seeing him now he won’t be around for much longer. Shame the Fury fight was in Saudi but at least we had the fight!
Liked Don Charles before but hes been running his mouth lately and this crosses the line. Thats me done listening to Don Charles mans coming across as a jealous ex. To call Usyk a cheat and questioned his faith is cowardly and low. Karma will catch up with Don and his words.
Don can criticise others, but for some reason he feels if anyone else does it that they are being disrespectful. Really disappointed with Don's waspy attitude. Fair play to Gareth for not biting back. However, someone needs to put Don firmly in his place. Who on earth does he think he is?! I'm surprised anyone wants to work with him!
If Dubois gets in with Usyk again, he loses again. People are all jumping on the Dubois bandwagon, fair play to him and his performance but I don't see him keeping that title long.
They need to settle that Garcia claim out of court. If that goes to court it 'could' spell the end of boxing as we know it. But I wouldn't expect a man that calls another man 'his excellency' to understand that.
Joshua fell apart as usual once hit, he simply cannot think on his feet and needs molly-coddling through a catastrophe, but he’s in there on his own. Sick of excuses for Joshua all the time, he’s a cash cow for all these hangers on hence why their desperate to keep protecting him.
