People are underrating ten hagg. He came THIRD last season with Casemiro and Eriksen in his midfield, ANTHONY on the right and Trasford on the left. Compare that to liverpool's Nunez Salah Diaz etc etc.

Ten Hagg has nade bad signings (Anthony/Mount) but i think if United provides a player like Osimhen or Sane/Coman/Gnabry, ten hagg will get united better results imo.

These “pundits” are so intent on getting Ten Hag fired that they do not appear to have a clue how Ten Hag actually wants to set up his side. For starters, Ten Hag wants to play a high line and a possession game from the back. However, United cannot play a high line with Maguire, Evans, or Lindelof in the back line, full stop. All three of them are far too slow to play a high line and none of them are composed enough under a sustained high press to play out from the back. The best back four for United by far, and the one Ten Hag actually wants, is Dalot, Varane, Martínez, and Shaw. Those four provide the best combination of pace, playing out of the back with confidence, and getting forward to support the attack. Most pundits have failed to mention this all year long when criticizing Ten Hag and his supposed lack of style of play. Ten Hag is not actually setting up United how he really wants to play because he has not had the actual players at his disposal to play how he wants to play. Anyone with an actual football brain knows that and he’s flat out said it in press conferences
