Garey High School Viking Marching Band performing their musical selection entitled Anchors Aweigh by Charles A. Zimmerman at the 61st Annual Arcadia Festival of Bands Band Review on Saturday, November 15th 2014. The Viking Marching Band is led by Mace Drum Major Juan Zavala.
Results: Class B
91.60 - 4th place Band
86.90 - 1st place Auxiliary - Congratulations!
88.75 - 4th place Mace Drum Major (overall)

Love it love it love it!! Beautiful song and killer performance! Band not rushing playing with class, auxiliary fun routine and entertaining, you nailed it!!!!! Congrats to all of you Vikings!!!

I've liked this band since the first time I saw them....they always sound a lot bigger than they are and play with good dynamics and good intonation and those girls out front....BRAVO for GAREY !

I can't imagine why I haven't noticed it until now, but it was a GREAT idea to have the girls out front in sailor uniforms....VERY NICE !

Their band director seems to be able to get the very best from these talented kids...BRAVO for GAREY HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND !
