Welcome back to the channel
On my last video you saw me have a great little session catching plenty of Garfish. As promised here is part two of how to catch Garfish and mullet. In this video I go through step by step on what my most successful Garfish float rig is and how to tie it. I prefer to use a quill float but many other style of floats can be used. I also cover line, hooks, sinkers etc.
I will also share with you my most successful bait and burley recipe and how to make it at home.
Hopefully after watching both these video's you will be armed with all the information needed to get out there and catch a bag full of them yourself.

Great video. Quill float with a split shot is always the way to go with garfish fishing as they get really shy with bigger floats. I love your choice of bait, very old fashioned and effective. Next best bait after flavored gents.

In normly fish for them from about mid morning to around lunchtime. Tide doesn't seem to affect them too much. As long as you have at least 1.5 water depth. I find summer months best as in winter you get plagued by little Bream

I just used 50/50 breadcrumbs and wet sand from the beach. Then a couple splashes of tuna oil

How do you prepare your garfish for eating. They are just full of bones.

I just fillet them same as Whiting and remove the rib cage. I don't worry about the pin bones as they are so small. I then just flour, egg and bread crumb them. I have 2 very young boys and they love them. It's bit fiddly but worth it. Might have to do a catch and clean and cook vedio about it.

Too much BS. 😂. Use bubble / ball float. It harvests alligator gears and or garnish. Too much vocals 😂

@jojobus6354 dude. I know. I am in Australia. I call 1 meter garfish, alligator garfish, but our garfishes here can be like little marlins. LOL 😆. BTW dude ? How do you know I smoke " too much weed", ? Settle down dickkk 😀

After reading your comment I thought you must be an expert, so decided to check out your channel. To say I was disappointed would have been a huge understatement. Concentrate on getting more the 30 views on your own videos before criticizing others.
