I said it before and I'll say it again. Microsoft should have KI4 developed by Crytek using Cryengine, have Prophet and a Ceph warrior as guest characters, and make it the first fighter in history to run at 4k 120 fps. Now that would be an ULLLTRAAAA COOMBOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Jesus Christ you really don't know fighting games do you, how the hell is Crytek going to make a KI game, Crytek is a First person shooter dev team they only do First person shooters no one at Crytek knows anything about fighting games, you just don't put who ever the hell to make fighting games, there's a reason why there are only a few fighting game developers in the world, very few making a fighting game is not just beautiful graphics and I'm sure that's why you want Crytek to make a KI game, fighting games are the most difficult genre of video games to create and you need experts that know all of the complex mechanics of a fighting game, developers like Arc System Works, Capcom, Bandaid Namco, SNK, NeterRealm, Iron Galaxy and Nway are the very few fighting game developers out there and almost all of if their work force are former competitive players in the FGC people that understand and know fighting games in and out.
@@swansong5960 I thought more about a collaboration but even a KI-style game that wouldn't be a good idea; If my English is wrong, remember, I'm Brazilian
@@hokeshi7829 I understand what you mean but personally I dont like mixing such contrasting universes. You are right though, Kengan would seriously suit the fast, hard hitting style of KI gameplay.
To my knowledge the most recent one was not very successful. I think it's mostly because people didn't like the fact that so many features of the game were behind a pay wall.
@@Darth234Ravenous really??? I didn't know that, sad to hear. I thought it was a big hit?. Well at least in the circles I follow. That's a shame. And I didn't realize there was much behind a pay wall. I just remember purchasing the additional season passes for the characters, as they came out. I didn't see much difference in that vs what mortal Kombat is doing. 🤷🤷
@@Darth234Ravenousullsoap you can unlock most things in game. The game is not a pay to win nor any game mode or vanilla skins are purchased by micro transactions only.
@@Darth234Ravenous It was very successful for a low-budget XBL game and Phil Spencer mentions the success and brand recognition of the game. The problem right now is recruiting a "dream team" to design the next Killer Instinct (rumored to be made by Namco) as Double Helix Games was acquired by Amazon, and Iron Galaxy may be working on other projects. If I was Microsoft, I would remaster this game, updating the graphics to Series X standards and then prepare for a proper sequel.
@@darnellm743 me too, I was just trying to avoid using that ( cheat ) word lol. I believe you had to input the code with a second controller plugged in, or else it wouldn't work.
The graphics are really outdated but a lot of the concepts really hold up well. Instinct activation inspired SFV V Trigger imo. And Gargos is such an amazing character idea he would fit so well in the MK universe. Especially his teleport punches.
Those two were actually enemies in the game's official lore. Eyedol's defeat by Orchid in the first game accidentally freed Gargos from imprisonment, leading to the battles of Killer Instinct 2.
QUIERO MI KILLER INSTINCTS 3!!!
...go back to original KI with Finishers...and publish on PS ... and will be success !! ...... only game can rival MK !! ..... ....not this x garbage ! .... ....
@@daz69phillips It is not the same skip a comma or a dot/point at the end of an internet comment, as you know, whatever those poor attempts of suspension points were.
