Garie Beach to Burning Palms Beach Trail | Royal Coastal Walk | Hiking in Australia

This 10km return hiking trail in Royal National Park, Australia is a beautiful segment of the Royal Coastal Walk - often noted as one of the best hiking trails in the area. Starting at Garie Beach heading south towards Burning Palms Beach. The famous Figure 8 pools are also located along the rock shelf accessible at low tide via Burning Palms Beach (take care when attempting to visit the pools).
This is an interesting trail and is a great one to get your heart pumping for two reasons: the elevation change and the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. The track hugs the coastline and visits Little Garie Beach, North Era Beach and South Era Beach. Along the way expect to see a variety of coastal flora including Flannel flowers and Banksia and perhaps some sunbaking Jacky dragons and Eastern water dragons.
