Garissa survivor covered himself in blood to survive 

Cheruiyot was one of the students sleeping in his hostel bed when the gunmen attacked the campus of the Garissa University College. He said he was among the first students to be captured. He told his story of how he kept himself alive, which was by covering himself with the blood of his friends who were being executed.
