Hey Joe, thank you for the feedback. Out of curiosity: Do you mean pokeweed? We don't have that over here. Isn't that plant somewhat toxic?

Here, this plant is an invasive species. I've seen signs about it. I have seen where it is pulled out because it takes over areas from the local plants. Good to know it's edible and I don't have to worry about pulling it out.

Hey Sandra, thanks for your comment. I assume you are living somewhere on the North American continent right? I know from another viewer that garlic mustard is considered invasive in Ontario, for example. Well consider this a win-win-situation: You can get rid of an invasive species and at the same time get food for free. :) ATB Ralf

I have a huge batch in my back yard that just flowered, any good uses for just the flowers(roots I'll be processing similar to horse radish)

Thanks for your comment Jennifer. You can use the flowers as a garnish for salads and such. What you can also do: leave the flowers be and use the pods/seeds for cooking. It would be a bit far fetched to compare the taste to pepper, but still they make a pretty good spice. You can also check my playlists for more foraging-related content👍🏻
