Hey Marlene, thanks for the comment! Yeah definitely give them a try this fall if you get a chance! Similar taste to the leaves but with more of a black pepper mix in the flavour. Very unique for sure 🙂

Also, i think many people might confuse garlic mustard for creeping Charlie. Im really feeling like all these wonderful plants that keep us healthy and big corporations are pushing the narrative they are invasive weeds.

Hey thank you for the sub and comments!I think you might be on to something there 🤫 instead they want us eating their GMO fruits & veggies as the healthy option, which they are bigger, taste sweet, probably grow easier but way less healthy in my opinion at least 😋

Great point too btw with people confusing garlic mustard with creeping Charlie! I think they look so much alike when young, you would either have to wait for the flowers to pop or try with the distinct garlic smell when crushing the leaves. Good thing is both are edible. On another point, I think the big corps push these as invasive because they are technically invasive if you have a yard of grass. Grass has no purpose but looking nice to the eye, whereas the “invasive weeds” actually attract many insects like bees and butterflies, animals and even hummingbirds. You can then use these weeds for all types of things from food to medicine. Then they will say its us small guys killing the environment, when they are pushing the narrative. I could go on this rant forever but ill spare you 😂 thanks again for the great comments!
