Intrigued to hear your thoughts! I've been switching between the Enduro 3 and the T-Rex 3 since they launched. Man, I wish Garmin would do away with the sleep schedule feature and just capture everything automatically!
Both watches are great choices! The Enduro 3 is certainly better but the T-Rex 3 is just a fraction of its price, so for me, it has the better price performance ratio. If you have any further questions on any of the two watches, let me know! ✌🏼
Hi, don’t you have a stability issues with your E3? Mine is constantly stuck at loading screens, go back to watchface, reboot, disappearing UI elements, tons of bugs and glitches 🥵 especially navigating. There’s no turn notifications! It’s a nice watch and I believe there’s nothing similar on the market but I feel like a beta tester and it is so frustrating that I’m giving it back. :| ✌️
Hi, I‘m sorry to hear that you had these bad experiences with the watch. For me, these things didn’t happen to be honest. The watch is not the fastest in general, as Garmin watches are generally slower than classic smartwatches but I didn’t experience the things you were mentioning.. Again, sorry to hear that and I hope you have more luck with your next watch! Regards 😊
Thanks for the review, very helpful. I still have a fenix 3 sapphire hr which I bought in 2016/2017, it is going strong. Bought an inreach mini 2 a few months ago, was sad to find out the Fenix 3 is not compatible with the Mini 2. Any idea on the compatibility between the mini 2, enduro 3 vs fenix 8 vs fenix 7? I usually use the watch for multiday hikes, open water / indoor swimming, gyming and just general outdoor activitiy. I usually don't wear a watch when at home. I am leaning towards the Enduro 3 becuase of the battery life - depending on the compatibility to InReach Mini 2. Thoughts?
Great video! I’m trying to decide between the Enduro 3 and the fenix 8. Do you feel that the buttons on the fenix will be more durable since they don’t use o-rings? And how do you like the display with the maps between the two since one is MIP and the other amoled?
Thank you! 😊 Mh, I don’t think there‘s much of a difference in the built quality of the buttons or the watches in general. Considering the display, it depends. AMOLED displays can display more data and details than MIP displays so I would generally prefer them but on the other hand, MIP displays are easier to read in direct sunlight, which is why I tend to use MIP watches for outdoor activities like hiking etc. I will do another separate video comparing the MIP and AMOLED Fenix 8, so stay tuned for that ✌🏼
Hey great review! Appreciate it! Is there any difference in terms of workout dynamics between the Enduro 3 and Fênix 8? Like running/triathlon data and analytics.
Would have been happy to hear your personal opinions and experiences, vs just the feature comparisons. Do you prefer Mips or Amoled? Do you miss the microphone? How was wearing the bigger watch?
Hey, thanks for your feedback! I prefer using AMOLED displays in my daily life, but tend to use MIP watches for outdoor sports activities like hiking, running etc. I don’t miss the microphone because I am not really using the smart features. Wearing the bigger watch was fine for me, but that’s probably because I’m used to wearing bigger watches and my wrist circumference is 185 mm. Additionally, the Enduro 3 is comparably light and with the nylon strap, it’s very comfortable to wear. If you have any further questions, let me know 😊
