Yes, it is. The Epix is wonderful and the screen is amazing. The issue I have, is that I really, really like having the time on the screen 24/7, like a real watch. With anything with AMOLD, it just sucks the battery and / or could cause screen burn in. So, the MIP display on the 7, is the way to go (for me). Also, when in the sun, its amazing :-) Indoors is fine too, especially when there is some window light in the room. So, I have never had issues with any of mine over the years.
@woody6791 yes, indoors is nit great. I actually went and returned to Phoenix 7 and ended up buying the epix And i've been using that now for over six months and it's been amazing
I finally upgraded with an Anthem 20% discount. This watch is incredible and a fantastic upgrade to the 5+. I do not regret getting this over the Epix Pro. The Fenix Pro display is much better outside and not quite as dark inside compared to the 5+.
Thank you the video. Can I enter coordinates to navigate me anywhere in the world? For example I've got a trip to the Sahara desert where there is no data connection or Internet can I use the watch to guide to my destination?

@thomasorchard I don't do Amazon. I live in New Zealand, and it's expensive, The watch was basically free anyway. I didn't earn the money, and neither did my wife.
@thomasorchard I just finished a 30km hike in the bush up behind my house, scouting out my property's boundary. It's mostly native bush with a couple of big clearings to camp out on. So, the Garmin really helped with navigating to certain points of interest and the Track me mode is awesome too.
