In this video we go over my first impressions of the Garmin Force trolling motor. Get on fish faster, and stay on the water with the most powerful, most efficient trolling motor available - and it’s quiet, too. Force is more efficient at 24 V than the competition’s 36 V system.Wirelessly connect to your Garmin chartplotter, and open up a world of possibilities. All the control of a cable-steered pedal without the cable.

i am looking at getting a force, i have a 2018 g3 17 sportsman pfx. that came with the edge and i really was trying to get away from the cable deploy because the edge kept breaking. i think was just time to upgrade. i bought terrova 12volt 55lb trust i have had it for about 2 years and i want something witha little more power. i have the shuttle slide on my terrova now and wanted your option on the regular force or the kraken. thank you for your time

I think both of those trolling motors may be a bit big for a 17 foot boat, but that’s just my opinion. I’m not a fan of the kraken or Terrova type motors because of the coiled wires, but again just my opinion. But I do love my Force, just not sure if it would be too big for your boat.

@@InstinctBassin thank you I just wanted something with a little more kick, with it being to much motor for my boat, what kind of problems would i encounter thank you for help just don’t want to buy the wrong thing especially at that price

I just think it would take up a lot of room up front and may stick out far from the side, depending on the install. Power wise, it would more than fine. If I were you, I’d probably look for a used Ultrex 80 lb thrust. Would save a couple grand, probably fit better, and still have spot lock and more than enough power. You’d just still have to pull it up.

The Garmin Force is damn loud when making rotation corrections. It's hard to relax fishing when he howls like that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rFwbd9mWHCI.html
