Could you please do a review/comparision, between GPS and a Smartphone? Once I had a TomTom, it took me ages to build a route thru the pc, with waypoints and stops. . Today, I mainly use Calimoto app on my phone, and it works great!
Very helpful explanation ! I do have a question: let's say I download a hiking gpx track from a website that I want to do myself. Can I then start the hike somewhere in the middle of that track because I want to skip the first part for instance ? Or will the unit first try to bring me to the exact starting point ? And what happens if I divert too much away from such a track ? Will the unit try to put me back on the track ?
