I've had the SE, Explorer and 66i. I very rarely typed anything on those. I kinda get the reason for the reverse charging 😂

During Emergency (SOS) Communication with the IERCC, if the victim experienced vision problems (e.g. lost eyeglasses, excessive tear production due to environmental factors such as wind/dust/snow, etc.), could the Smartphone APP support ‘Large Text’ or even Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech?

You can increase the size of the text on your phone and I have tested speech to text and it works, but people should know how to use these before being caught in an emergency situation. Rick

I’m 99% sure if you trigger SOS and are unable to send a message back due to incapacitation or whatever the emergency response will still come.

To cumbersome for me. Big fingers would make this very difficult. But if is all you have, make it work.

It is a great device, but I prefer the Mini 2 and the GPSMAP 67i. I also use the Montana 750i, but that's only when I'm off-roading in the Rocky Mountains. Rick
