The Garmin instinct Crossover sees Garmin take its outdoor watch and slap some analogue hands on it. Like the other Instinct watches, it's packed with smarts to track outdoor activities including running and has navigation skills as well.
Testers Mike and Nick have been living with the Instinct Crossover to find out if putting analogue hands on the Instinct was a good move and whether this is a good Garmin watch for runners.

Have had and love an Instinct 2 for awhile now. This video was helpful in helping me decide to stick with it over the Crossover.

I like this watch as I enjoy the ProTrek analog/display watches I have now. My decision will be either the crossover solar tactical or ForeRunner 955 solar or the Casio H2000 hard to decide.

@TheRunTesters Great review with insightful criticism. The fenix 7 is more than I want to spend and Instinct 2 doesn't appeal to me so... Would you recommend the Fenix 6x Sapphire with older GPS chipset ($399 USD currently) over the Crossover ($549 USD)? If so, what are some abbreviated reasons?
