It would be great if you could do a review where you can see the Mk3i underwater while diving next to the Mk2i, and Shearwater Teric/Tern and Apple Watch Ultra 2 :)

I have a Garmin fitness watch. I've hated it since day one. I should have returned it. The reason is the screen brightness or lack thereof. I dont even understand why they still sell them. When I purchased it, Garmin did not offer any of their watches with AMOLD. If you’re looking at Garmin, definitely buy one with that feature. I understand their dive computers do have it. Nice and bright!

I got the AWUII for daily, but bought a Garmin MK3i to replace my Suunto dive watch. AWU I guess is doable if someone is just doing a few recreational dive a year, but not as capable as a dedicated dive computer.

Totally agree, I booked a dive on holiday last year and before I went did a couple of refresher dives with my old club in the local lake. The AWU was perfect for that, paid £9 for a month sub to the app and it was a perfect watch for the simple dives. But no way would I use it as my dive computer if I still dived regularly

Dive log is a bit of a headache eg if you were using a non Garmin GC you won't be able to import previous dives into the Garmin dive log

I’ve the mk2i. It’s much easier to see than teric. I hope that they fixed the lose of communication issues. Otherwise the communication computer to computer seems unnecessary. I’ve never been diving with someone that has a Garmin computer.

It's very clear the Mk3 as well. It seems like a thing most divers don't need or will ever use anyway.

I own this model, previously I had Fenix7, Fenix6, etc. I wanted to write that the watch at this point has many functions poorly optimized Meni scrolling causes visible clipping The wake-up gesture has a considerable delay There are only 4 levels of screen brightness settings Some functions lock settings and you have to restart the watch Changing data screen settings from the phone resets the device For a watch for this much money I feel a bit cheated :(
