I do believe you can get map functionality with you smart one with this if the app that supports it is downloaded.

Nice Review; appreciate you taking the time to post this. To pair with one of the Garmin Watches (Fenix, Tactix, etc.) it appears you have to have an Alpha or Astro system as well? You couldn't pair the 550 Plus / TT 15 bundle out of the box with a watch, correct?

are you sure it doesn't work with the TT10? I thought I saw that on garmins site
