Hey guys in this video I use my Garmin Striker 4 Plus Ice Fishing Bundle to catch a ton of fish at beautiful Fish Lake in Washington state. I will go through a couple of the modes and show you how to tell your lures from fish and how to set up your fish finder with the optimal settings. Having one of these things literally makes the difference between a one fish day and a hundred fish day.
Garmin striker 4 ice bundle on amazon will run you about $270, you can get the base unit for around $110 and use the dual beam transducer just fine, i did all last year in face. I just prefer the convenience of the carrying bag and the clarity of the GT8HW transducer.

Thanks for this video. Ive watched a handful of videos on the unit, and yours was very easy to understand and I didnt know there was a zoom function. I just picked one up (Striker 4 plus CV) for my kayak and for fishing crappie houses. You described and showed how advantageous this can be! Cant wait to try mine

I don’t ice fish but I like how well you broke everything down to understand. I feel like if I do go ice fish I could take my sonar and use it with some degree of confidence.

Great job on the video, this is what I wanted to see with the fish finder. I have one I will begin using and as you said, yeah we could prob get lucky and catch fish but it makes a nice solution to see all those fish and know the depth. Hey thanks for the Intrest, yes I made this out of a pvc coupler, some spare wire I had and a uv light strip from Amazon. I'll order a new strip and make a diy video on how it's all done

Does it come with batteries ? Are they rechargeable ? Or do you need a car battery or something ? Great video BTW.

hey, sorry for the late reply, this runs off the smaller 12v batteries. I personally use a 12ah lithium battery and it will run this 4+ full day trips on the ice before needing charged again

Yeah m looking at an Eskimo 946ig , g is for gray interior. I see yours is black , do you know the difference in black vs gray interior as the gray is $50 less right now? Thanks for any help .

Howdy, I think the color is just a preference thing, I know spear houses she usually black so alot of shelters come black on the inside for that reason. Other than that I believe it's just a brand thing.

thanks for the feedback, i don't even use this unit anymore other than for friends coming out with me. In my next one i do on the uhd 93sv ill make sure to balance the brightness
