Not only do we need more hours in the day, I could use and extra set of hands as well. Enjoyed visiting with yall this afternoon. I was stitching on Blackbird's My Dear Hearts. I really enjoyed seeing Jeanette's months and Cheryl's Harry Potter stitching. I do not quilt but I appreciate seeing the beautiful work!!

Have you ever tried a watermelon margarita? It’s on my list. Beautiful stitching ladies. I love that your boys helped on Mary Poppins. I did that once with my kids but, I was doing free motion quilting.

Hi! Watermelon is my favorite fruit. I have several childhood memories associated with watermelon. My most vivid and at the time upsetting was..... I was sitting at the picnic table at Grandma Kate's in McCall. I was around 5-6 years old. Aunt Marge was sitting across from me as was Grandma. Aunt Marge told me quite seriously not to swallow ANY seeds or I would get pregnant. So, I was VERY careful . When near the end of the slice, a white seed slid down my throat. I ran into the kitchen where my aunt and Grandma were cleaning up, so upset sputtering that I was pregnant as I had swallowed a seed. They burst into laughter. I was not amused as I did not want to be pg. Grandma confessed that I was not pg as she drew me in for a big hug and it was a joke. I did not laugh.I do now!😃

I am joining the Hygge Stitcher because my birthday is also in August and I will be 60. So I am starting the 6 for 60. One of the new starts will be Summer Quaker. I will use both hashtags.

I am a new subscriber and I just love your channel! I am a cross stitcher who is trying to learn to quilt (for the 3rd time in my life, it’s pathetic) so seeing all types of projects is really awesome. I am thinking about getting the Christmas Eve quilt panel to try to finish myself. If I order the panel, do you remember how much backing yardage I would need, or how much binding? I really appreciate the information. I don’t want to mess up (again.)

Hi there! You will need about 4.5 yards of backing and 1/2 yard of fabric for the binding. Maggie’s on Main has the panel and yardage on their website if you would like to check it out. Search Christmas Eve under quilting. I hope that helps and I look forward to hearing when you get your quilt finished! How fun!🎄
