i'm a huge Celtics fan and i think Ainge did the right move to ship them off to brooklyn, for our future's sake. And also its only right that these legends deserves the chance to win a ring again after all they have done for us. Celtics for life but i will be happy if KG and Pierce do win a ring.

you're right, patrick ewing spent 15yrs with the knicks, then got traded gary payton spent 13yrs with the sonics, got traded. scottie pippen helped lead the bulls to 6 titles, got traded. And now Pierce loyalty means nothing to nba franchises, they just want money

Yeah, totally! I can't wait for next season. Last season was one of the greatest, no doubt about it, and although I dislike the Heat, they totally deserved that championship, because they went up against the toughest teams.

Yeah, I agree. Carmelo is like another JR, over confident and self-assured in all situations. But, in Melo's case, most of his shots go in, as opposed to the notorious JR who gets 3-15 most nights. I don't really watch Lakers, so I don't know about MWP. But Def. Award is a big award so I trust his defense, and as for offense, 13 PPG is more than enough for 33 min, because we have enough offense. Amare I think will do great. He did extremely well when he came off injury 10ppg in like 10 min!

Big threes have been around for years way before the Celtics got Allen and Garnett.Washington Wizards - Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, and Antawn Jamison.New Jersey Nets - Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, and Richard Jefferson.Phoenix Suns - Steve Nash, Shawn Marion, and Amar'e Stoudemire.Oklahoma City Thunder: Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden.Chicago Bulls: Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman.

Cavs didnt make too big of moves but I think they are going to be a great team soon. Maybe not next year but after that watch out. Their line up is talented and young, with time to grow.

This aint the earlier days of the NBA when free agency didnt exist... It is rare in any sport that one player plays their whole career with one team plus Pierce cant help he was involved in the trade, it was KG who waived his no trace clause

That's good to hear. In all honesty, if the Knicks fell or began 'rebuilding', I'd rarely watch NBA. I may sound spoiled, but who wants to see their team lose over and over? And if Melo left, I wouldn't blame him, like Cavs did to LeBron. He deserves a championship because he's a SUPERstar, and if the Knicks can't give that to him, then he should definitely abandon them!

KG went to Brooklyn from Boston because he wasn't wanted in Boston anymore and pierce left ray left and so did doc so he would've been the last of the big three and it was a great chance to stay with his good friends pierce and terry. He left because he had to not wanted to, he loves Boston and so does pierce and terry but the NBA is a job for them and jobs aren't always on your side.

I am not arguing that lol, believe me I love Bron, in fact I hated people who said they had enough in Cleveland, but he was hated in Cleveland because he left prior to winning anything, what would they say to pierce? He already won them a ring and he was traded...so you cant say he did anything "wrong"
