I think garnett should be captain really, he plays with pure heart, he has so much confidence, last year he was the only person who deserved to win the championship, after like 14 years of hard work he finally found his ring.
Garnet is the player in the business. Here in Minnesota that was first time get good also last time we had one celtics good luck take the advantage of big man.
Garnett celebrated like a TRUE champion. . . its how someone that's meant/destined to win the ring is supposed to celebrate. its tears of hard work, sacrifice, etc. Lakers would've gone arrogant like it belonged to them. Kobe still has much to do before deserving this like Garnett, Pierce, and Allen did. They hurted their ENTIRE and they finally got a chance, and like a true TEAM, they put their hearts on the court when the finals started and said i bet THIS!
People are sleeping on one of the best up and coming P.G's Rajon Rondo outta Kentucky. They should have him taking pictures with the trio. You'll see when the season starts how much of a difference he gonna make for this team this year

He doesn't play dirty. Crazily, yes, but dirty... that's a stretch. Sometime his behavior goes overboard with some of his antics but it's not like he'll kick a guy in his nuts while he's down or punch a guy in his back when the refs aren't looking. He just has so much passion that he becomes overwhelmed sometimes.
a bench they can depend on and takeover whenever one of them isn't on the floor or even all 3 aren't if possible. say if they lose 1 of them durin' regular season due to injury "knock on wood", it's gonna take a big toll on the team status and the way they play. they made big moves but either to get some u lose some or many and that's exactly what they did.
That's only because you play teams from the opposite conference twice during the season. A win in the west is tougher and it matters more than it would in the East. We already know that whoever wins the championship, it will be a team from the west.

True. They haven't even faced any of the Western Conference giants and already people are saying they're gonna win the Finals. The only good person on there is KG. Allen can shoot and that's it, and if every shitty player in the NBA puts in an effort, they will play as good as Paul Pierce.

After their loss to the Lakers last season...they were talking in interviews about the fact that maybe it was their last time playing together! I HOPE they get another shot at it together!!

Im gonna be honest, KG is my favorite player in the NBA currently. I HATE Ray Allen and Paul Pierce WHEN THEY"RE ON THE COURT. They're sittin hear talkin about being un-selfish players? Un-selfish my ass. It's hard to be THAT good and not be selfish. Don't get me wrong these are 3 of the best players in the NBA currently, I just don't like Pierce and Allen. Now outside of basketball, these guys seem pretty awesome. I've got nothing against these guys personally.

@FrostJeremin I would love to see it happen, C's all the way, but i doubt it, the league is filled with too many 3's combo for this to be truly outstanding. If this group should have that spot, i belive Duncan, Parker and Ginobilli should aswell, even though im not much of a spurs fan ;)

in the east the best teams are the pistons,heat,bulls,toronto,NJ,and now the celtics. if these guys come together play like a team they can wina lot of games. to me the best team in the nba right is the spurs but i dont think they will it this year. i really think the suns are gonna come together and make it to the nba finals, against the anyone of the eastern teams i named above(maybe not toronto or NJ).

i'm happy for the Celtics, i'm looking 4ward to see them do well this season. however they're practically the whole team (ray allen, KG, paul pierce) and that's gonna be their downfall. even though celtics have thoze 3 scoring machines, they still need a back-up.
Please. The Lakers are barely strong enough? That's because in the West you actually have to earn your spot in the playoffs. The only reason the Celtics have the best record is because they always play the shit that is the Eastern Conference. The West is stronger, therefore the Western Conference Champion will be the NBA Champion.
