Wounded Warrior is a fantastic organization for returning military that are not only wounded physically but also emotionally and suffering with PTSD. Thank you for giving them the recognition they deserve.

Another lovely video for me to enjoy over the weekend. Some great charts today. I love to see you both in your store and that you move around and I get to see the lovely items on the walls. I enjoyed seeing the progress of the makes too. Lovely to mention soldiers and their families. It is a harder life than many think for those serving in their respective countries. Especially once they leave the force when the support often disappears. So it will be a good cause for your charitable donations. I enjoyed the demonstration of the frames at the end Ronnie. I thought you did a great job and very easy to understand how to use the frame and stand. Until next week. Take care both of you and thank you. :)

Hello to both of you! I missed seeing you both at StitchCon A last weekend, but I’m sure that with the shop you just can’t get away! I enjoy The Drawn Thread, and have just finished Welcome Spring. I also have stitched Welcome Autumn, which is framed. I have Welcome Summer and Welcome Christmas waiting to be done. I will be able to use the same frame to interchange them as the seasons change. Thank you Gary, and your family too for your service to our country, and thank you Ronny for reminding us to thank the families of our service men & women for their sacrifices as well. I agree that Wounded Warrior is a great organization!

Amen Ronnie! My husband is a medically retired veteran….and yes…it does affect the family! We went to a wounded warrior program for 3 weeks in Boston. It’s called home base. There are several places that have retreats for families and veterans.

Loved the FFO and the progress on the WIPs. Nice reminder about the families serving as well. That is why I got out after 14+ years, my sons needed me more than the Navy. No regrets and best decision for my family. 💜💜💜

That is so very true Ronny! My son was in afganastan. I lived in funeral mode the whole time! They all come back affected by war! He came safe! Good job showing the frame got me interested!

Thank you to your son and your family for serving! I can't even imagine what you, as a Mom, went through. I had uncles that served but two were before I was born and another was Vietnam and I was about two years old so I didn't know what was going on. Now my cousin's daughter is in the Navy and I pray and think about her quite often, as well as all of our service women and men.

Wounded Warriors PAYS its famous spokesmen and spokeswomen. It PAYS big dollars to them. A very small percentage of donations actually gets to the soldiers and their families. My suggestion is to identify local organizations that provide support and assistance.

Thank you for mentioning the impact on the family of servicemen/women. You might want to look into PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) in lieu of Wounded Warriors who have a good percentage of contributions going to the Veterans themselves and not used for administrative costs, etc. Another thought...when I sort through my stash about once a year, if I have any kits (not only needlework) that I probably won't use, but I have also donated them to recreation dept of VA hospitals or they are sent overseas with personal care packages for our servicemen/women actively on duty. I appreciate all of their (your) service and the sacrifices their families make as a result of their service. Ronny, I found your tutorial on the Lowery visually informative. I have been using this stand for about 30 years and it is still going strong.

Doh!! Thank you Ronnie - i had my floor stand trying to grip the middle of the top round bar on my rollaframe. Makes far more sense to grip from the side

A little tip for the lowery stand users : for more stability on both sides use 2 stands on both sides of the rolerframes bares that helps first and get on the floorpart a weight like a sack of sand on both standfoots

Literally stopped your video to go order the Drawn Thread Skeletons Dance. That is THE PERFECT Halloween piece to me. Did the same with North Pole and was inspired by your finish to pull that out today. Its is very dangerous for my pocketbook to watch you two! Love all the views of the shop! 😘

Ronny, do your research on the Wounded Warrior Foundation before you decide. There has been some controversy in the past about how they spend the money they get.
