Funny how the families always seem to expect the person to react strongly to the balloons but they don't......it's natures colors that gets them the most.
Wow. So ein schönes Moment. Wie schön ist eure Familie. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie ist es farbenblind zu sein. Gottes Segen! Greetings from Germany, God bless you all, thanks for sharing. 🎉🎈
The Enchroma glasses were invented by accident by someone trying to make lenses for surgeons using lasers. By coincidence his friend was colour blind and when he tried them on he noticed some orange road cones that he couldn't see before. I really like that story!
It must be incredibly overwhelming to begin with. Just occasionally, when the light is really clear and pure, I get a glimpse of what he's seeing. Its like seeing things through fresh eyes. God bless this delightful family
I'm only one minute into this and already I'm crying when everybody says it's for all of us! That just resonates with pure love! Because when you're happy I'm happy! You're very wonderful family!
That was so beautiful to watch, the joy on his face from something the rest of us just take for granted, and how grateful he was, bless you Garrett and have a life full of colour !
I love watching these. There always seems to be a silent pause right after they put the glasses on. It’s like some sense of awe comes over each person.
I love the slow reactive people the impressions they are sinking slowly in are the most precious. Their natural discretion and fortitude are admirable. Very moving.
This beautiful young man with such a beautiful loving family and circle of friends seeing color for the first time has made my day. Thank you to the remarkable Holloway family for sharing that moment. It truly is the simple things and The Holloways prove it!
I am so sorry for your loss... Some people who have had near death say that after we pass, we are "whole"... If it is true, your husband has Technicolour vision on another plane! Who knows!!! Take care!!!
It reminds me of The Wizard of OZ when Dorothy opened the door to Munchkin Land... Very moving. I thank God for the technology that makes this possible. I am overjoyed beyond words. I myself can't see certain shades of brown. I am very lucky. It wasn't bad enough to keep me out of the service. I have often wondered myself if I have been missing out on something. Maybe some different colored people might look different to me. Even with my slight impairment it sounds very exciting.
He really didn’t know how to describe some of the colors he was seeing. He’d just say to us “what is that?” Also another really cool moment happened a few days later when he saw a McDonalds for the first time😉 he was like wow McDonalds really has a lot going on! 😢 I thought of how many times we’ve been to McDonalds even as a child and he’s never seen it like we’ve seen it till now and he’s 24! Thank you Jesus!
Carol Holloway this is so beautiful , the gift of Color , people take it for granted all the time this makes me so happy to watch , best gift you could have ever given him . Am sure even movies as an experience completely changed , God bless your family 🌈 .
@gararufa helium - we are all made different in His image. The message is about how WE take colors for granted. If we get a cold, that's why we have doctors.
For years my father thought he was red/green colorblind because both his uncles were severely colorblind, but it just turned out that his cataracts were interfering with his eye's cones. He had the cataracts removed and it cleared his sight up. For shits and giggles I took the Enchroma's Color Blind Test tonight and I scored a perfect Normal Vision. I can't imagine being even slightly color blind. But I'm glad that science has finally found a fix for mild color deficient people. I also understand that they are able to fix a certain kind of deficiency with red tinted contact lenses.
Some colors he has never seen and didn’t know how to describe. The more her wore them the more he saw. And no colorblind people only see in black and white. The more sunshine there is the more you can see and it was cloudy.
Beg to differ on 'no colorblind people only see in black and white' because my dad only sees in grayscale (achromatopsia) and so did my high school guidance counselor, Mr. Mills.
Rella? Never heard that name before. To a dog to. Well hope he loves seeing snow, A diamond in some light. Seeing all the colors. A real rainbow and an some Aurora. More than 1 type. Hope you can get to see one one day. :-)
im glad he made that black person joke, because I wanted to also XD. But these videos are usually so emotional, i didn't want to be an ass. I'm black btw, so don't trip
I would like to see someone who is going to get their glasses with a shocking surprise . Someone bragging about their new awesome glasses and telling the person who they are really for to try theses new awesome glasses they just bought . Then when they try them on you get to see what they think about them . Just build up the hype to the point where they hate the glasses until the moment when they try them on . That way there is a true wtf moment .
I like how on all of these the white people say you're gonna find out I'm black.. (not really) the part I actually like is when the color blind person ignores it and is just taking in sight for the first time.
