my theory: banban was one of the rejected mascots (alongside syringeon and zolphius) and beard ban was the original banban, so banban got jealous of beardban and locked him up and replaced him.

My theory is that BanBan locked up BeardBan because beard ban is actually Flumbo. Flumbo and friends is the main cast, until banban wanted the spotlight. Garten of BanBan are the outcasts. I mean, what's garten? He locked up BeardBan/Flumbo up. Wait I just got to 11:25. It doesn't matter. FLUMBO was supposed to be the main the character, because who wants a pancreas-eating -givanium-living-thing around kids? GoB 5 is when we (banban) lock up FLUMBO and start playing with the kids. I think I got everything in my theory. Let's try to get Think to see!

I have a Theory that bearded ban is the original one but got replaced by banban.Also there is the scene that banban is in the group of "special" character with Sir Dadadoo, Bittergiggle and others.

I have a theory that might be correct. As we can see, blue banban belongs to the original crew while red banban belongs to the mutated crew that lives in lower floors. I think red banban took blue banban hostage and lived in his place, keeping him locked in a closet.

Blue Banban was actually the ORIGINAL main mascot of the kindergarten and the Red Banban that we all know of actually replaced him and locked him inside of the closet for a while and after he got attacked by Sir Dadadoo's army he was like "You know what, I cant handle this anymore" so he freed him. And actually this might be a wild theory by me but, maybe Banban wasnt in Gobb 1 because he was trying to lock up blue Banban in a closet while Opila and Jumbo were attacking us in Banban 1

Wait,I have a theory: Ban ban was actually a replacement for bearded banban but he wanted to be the star of the kindergarten, but now banban frees bearded banban because he needs help.

Wowzers, I think I side with everyone else's theories. Banban was a scratched character and envied Flumbo and wanted to take the limelight from him. So, Banban locked him up in a closet for no one to see. In the Chapter 8 trailer, Flumbo was with the main characters while Banban was with the scrapped/scratched characters. This all adds up on Banban being a rejected character envying Flumbo and wanting to take the limelight from him. Edit: Scrubbo.

I don't think he is flumbo, I don't think he is the devil either though as that is clearly red banban. Maybe the blue one is a prototype and syringeon swapped him with red mutant banban for some reason. Syringeon is 1000% sus and knows a lot more than we know. The image showing red banban is the mutants below as banban called them before and red bb clearly knows blue bb, so I think syringeon was involved with them both somehow. It did mention somewhere about him being able to create things from scratch so who did he create? How much of this creation thing was syringeon involved with? 🤔 My ADHD and asd makes me analyse all this so much more lol. Also what has happened to jumbo Josh now? I hope he isn't dead

I think in chapter 1, he locked him up since no one was watching, and there was no more workers to stop him. One of the original crew members probably locked him up, so he can’t be jealous anymore. This is what I'm thinking.The first wall with jumbo Josh is the original cast, and the second wall are the rejected ones. Ban ban was tired of being the rejected one, so he locked blue ban ban in a closet, and took his place in the original cast. That's why we could peel the ban ban sticker off the wall, because he put that there so no one thought of anything different. And since they look alike body wise, no one knew anything. I think this 8s going to be put more in action in Garden of ban ban 8.
